M4 B.6 Practice and Prove: Scatterplots

In this exercise, you're going to create a scaterplot in Tableau using the Sample - Superstore data set. 

Note: completing the design challenge dimension is not necessary to answer the questions, but is good practice for your projects!

...displays sales versus profit by customer name.

• Design Challenge: Have size be determined by average discount.
  • Make special notice of the fact that adding a measure to a different mark channel made a new chart type (a bubble chart) that wasn’t necessarily listed in “Show Me”.
  • This is a little teaser for some advanced chart types that we’ll learn later that leverage built-in functionality of Tableau in creative ways to make more advanced charts.
