In this Practice and Prove exercise, we will leverage the Kickstarter dataset to work with parameters.

Step 1: Access the Kickstarter dataset in Tableau

Step 2: Create a dimension selector...

• ...that allows you to choose Main Category, Category, or State
• This will work the same as the measure selector reviewed in our video
• Note that the "State" field may have been assigned a geographic data type, but it is a list of campaign statuses

Step 3: Create a measure selector...

• ...that lets you switch between Pledged and Backers

Step 4: Create a Bar Chart that implements these selectors

• Expose the parameter so that the user can make their own selections

Step 5: Answer the questions below based using your parameter selectors
